Let me say, after days of trying, I have finally made something to my satisfaction. I don’t have my camera with me at the moment, but when I do I’ll post a picture of my progress.

Okay, thanks :) That's what I thought it looked like, but I just wanted to make sure. And I'm always glad to hear that other people like my hats, so thanks! :D I'm supposed to start selling them at a novelty shop soon, so that's basically been all I've been doing, but I'm definitely going to take a break from the hats to make myself some of those gloves :)

Hi! I was looking through your blog because I had saw where you liked that rasta hat, and I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE those fingerless gloves! They're great :) I was wondering, was there a specific pattern you used, or did you come up with it yourself? Because I would love to try something like that, and even though I usually make up my own patterns it would be helpful if I had some sort of idea of what I should do :)

It was my own pattern, but it was really simple to do. All you have to is dc, and ch2 all the way around for the arm. And then for the hand you just need to sc all the way and increase gradually.
So...I have new yarn...

What was your first finished project?
I started crocheting at the age of nine. My first finished project was a dress and a bag for my Barbie doll. The dress and bag were bright yellow, and light pink (I know, horrible combination), and I thought it was just about the best thing in the world. Making the dress definitely set the basis for future projects like bags, table clothes, and clothes for myself.
